परिचय (Introduction)

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस परस्पर संबंधित डेस्कटॉप अनुप्रयोगों और सेवाओं का समूह है, जिसे सामूहिक रूप से ऑफिस सूट कहा जाता है। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस सर्वप्रथम सन् 1989 में माइक्रोसॉफ्ट कॉर्पोरेशन द्वारा मैक- OS के लिए शुरू किया गया। उसके पश्चात सन् 1990 में विंडोज के लिए प्रथम संस्करण लाया गया। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 3.0 ऑफिस सूट का विंडोज ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम का प्रथम संस्करण था। उसके बाद माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 4.3, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 95, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 2000, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस ङ्गक्क तथा माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 3003, माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस 2010 हैं। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस के अंतर्गत मुख्यत: चार प्रोग्राम आते हैं-

1. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट वर्ड

2. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट एक्सेल

3. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट एक्सेस

4. माइक्रोसॉफ्ट पॉवर प्वाइंट

 

एमएस ऑफिस के ये प्रोग्राम अलग-अलग प्रकार के कार्यों को करने के लिए प्रयोग में लाए जाते हैं, लेकिन इन सभी की कार्यप्रणाली लगभग एक जैसी है। जिसमें किसी एक प्रोग्राम पर कार्य करना सीखने के बाद अन्य प्रोग्रामों को सीखना सरल हो जाता है। यही नही एमएस ऑफिस के एक प्रोग्राम से दूसरे प्रोग्राम में कोई चित्र, सामग्री या सूचनाएं लाना ले जाना अत्यन्त सरल है इसलिए इनसे हर प्रकार के मिश्रित कार्य का भी कम्प्यूटरीकरण किया जा सकता है।

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट वर्ड (Microsoft Word)--

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट वर्ड माइक्रोसॉफ्ट कॉर्पोरेशन द्वारा विकसित वर्ड प्रोसेसर है। इसका मुख्य कार्य दस्तावेज को संचालित करना है। यह एक वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग पैकेज है, जिसकी सहायता से साधारण दैनिक पत्र व्यवहार से लेकर डेस्कटॉप पब्लिशिंग स्तर के कार्य सुविधापूर्वक किए जा सकते हैं। इसमें परम्परागत मेन्युओं के साथ ही टूल बार की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध है। जैसे- कॉपी करना, कट करना,

जोडऩा, खोजना एवं बदलना, फॉन्ट, स्पेलिंग एंड ग्रामर की जॉच करना, बुलेट्स तथा नंबरिंग आदि। माइक्रोसॉफ्ट वर्ड 2007 तथा 2010 में दस्तावेजों को विभिन्न भाषाओं में अनुवादित करने की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध है।

Microsoft Office was first introduced in 1989 by Microsoft Corporation for Mac OS. After that the first version was introduced for Windows in 1990. Microsoft Office 3.0 was the first version of the Office suite of Windows operating systems. It is followed by Microsoft Office 4.3, Microsoft Office 95, Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office Script and Microsoft Office 3003, Microsoft Office 2010. There are mainly four programs under Microsoft Office-

1. Microsoft Word

2. Microsoft Excel

3. Microsoft Access

4. Microsoft Power Point

 

These programs of MS Office are used to perform different types of tasks, but they all have almost the same functionality. In which after learning to work on one program, it becomes easy to learn other programs. Not only this, it is very easy to carry any picture, material or information from one program of MS Office to another, so all kinds of mixed work can also be computerized with them.

Microsoft Word--

Microsoft Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft Corporation. Its main function is to handle the document. It is a word processing package, with the help of which tasks ranging from simple daily correspondence to desktop publishing level can be done conveniently. In this, along with the traditional menus, the facility of tool bar is also available. For example, copying, cutting, joining, searching and replacing, checking font, spelling and grammar, bullets and numbering etc. The facility to translate documents into different languages ​​is also available in Microsoft Word 2007 and 2010.
